WE HAVE TRAVELLED 211 KM IN 12 HOURS. WE HAVE 3 OVAL WHEELS AND VIBRATION RELATED INJURIES. AND WE FORDED OUR FIRST RIVER TODAY. RAZZLE DID A BLINDING JOB. GETTING CLOSER BUT 'THE YOU KNOW WHAT' ON ITS LAST LEGS. SHE'S A FIGHTER THOUGH. SCENERY LOVELY, HOTELS NOT SO GOOD. I'D MAKE A FORTUNE PLUMBING HERE

the final frontier. We are currently sat in the heap waiting for the border into mongolia to open tomorrow morning. Our main concerns are as follows. 1, crazed drunken russian truck driver practising doughnuting his lorry in the holding pen. 2, feral brats trying their best to steal all of our belongings and banging on our windows and finally trying to sleep in the heap in what can only be described as sub zero weather conditions. And CHAZ needs a poo. No sign of any yetis yet

we are currently sitting in a shed waiting some food of some description in the strangest restaurant i've ever been in. We are staying in a hotel that rents rooms by the hour. And we've just found out that SEMEY was the soviet unions nuclear testing ground from 1949 to 1965. It was closed in 1991. Hoping third nipple on my neck is just a mosquito bite. Marvellous

Whilst discussing how well everything was going last night, our starter motor decided to pack up. After jump starting it we decided to drive 700 k to the next town through the night to get it fixed. After about 2 hours of driving our rear springs snapped ( yes we know pete ) So we drove for an hour more on some of the worst roads imaginable and found a spot to camp for the night. We then drove the rest of the way at about 20 miles an hour (corin will be familiar with this speed ). We are currently in the garage having some bad boy reinforced rear springs put on the car and having the starter motor refurbed. Surely nothing can stop us after this? Keep you posted. And can someone ring my bank manager please!

WE ARRIVED HERE AROUND MIDNIGHT LAST NIGHT AND BOOKED INTO AN EXPENSIVE HOTEL FOR A BIT OF R AND R. AFTER A SLIGHTLY HAIRRAISING BORDER CROSSING AND SOME INTENSIVE DESERT DRIVING WE FELT WE NEEDED IT. ONLY PROBLEM IS WE DON'T WANT TO LEAVE NOW. ITS MIDDAY AND ABOUT 34 DEGREES. WE ONLY LOST A COMPASS AS A PRESENT AT THE BORDER WHICH WASN'T TOO BAD CONSIDERING. IF ANYBODY KNOWS HOW TO FIT SPOT LIGHTS ON OUR CAR LET US KNOW. WE NEED THE EXTRA LIGHT FOR THE ROADS. THE POT HOLES ARE BIGGER THAN THE AGILA!
