Just shy of 3,000km in a washing machine. If anyone is thinking of a doing crazy adventure, perhaps rethink and consider playing chess instead. Thank you to everyone for your donations and support, you have all given so generously. We're coming home soon!@

We made it! A respectable 21st out of 65. We need a lie down.

Despite major faults we pushed on through with night driving to a nice beach resort with only 200kms to go. We then celebrated by drinking too much, night swimming and oversleeping because we met another group of tuk tukers (fight for your right chapati) who were very generous with their whiskey. Cheers boys! Will we make it?

Very eventful day....went to collect the tuk tuk but repairs were still ongoing until 3pm. Took a second leap of faith with a cut throat razor wielding barber to make ourselves respectable again. Tuk tuk then travelled a faultless 200kms and we're now settled into a spotless hotel for 7 quid a night. We now don't discuss breaking down within earshot of the tuk tuk. She's very sensitive.@

Had to take a massive leap of faith and hand over some cash to a strange mechanic in return for an engine fix by tomorrow morning. Could be worse places to break down I suppose, ended up on a beach with coconut palms drinking beer in The Nest. That said, our tuk tuk really is shite. Beards getting bushy though, sharpey looks like Jesus and I look like someone you wouldn't let your children near.@

Much needed day of rest, beaching, drinking without putting up with any tuk-tuk kerfuffle. Heading south with purpose tomorrow.....will she make it?

Despite her best intentions we made it to Goa. Limping down the coast with perpendicular drops along the way we rocked up on the beachfront and are now planning bugger all for a day or so. 30 degrees, cocktails, cows on the beach :)

Crawling down the coast our schizophrenic princess is playing up but we're plodding along. Hands constantly covered in oil. It's getting really hot here now - looking forward to a beach.

Nightmare of a day - early ignition problems, petrol leak by Dharavi slum, frame rewelded shortly after, ignition coil replaced in afternoon then battery exploded in the evening. Roads also so bad that even speedhumps are difficult to make out. Good food as ever in the evening and a couple of knockouts...back onto the beaten path tomorrow as we look for r&r in northern goa.@

Woke up to find a local sleeping in the tuk tuk who then tried to charge us for parking. He backed off when we threatened him with a charge for sleeping. Now broken down.....@
