Trains, Planes and Auto-rickshaws

After 34 hours in transit, our first experience in Delhi was a cheeky cab driver who obviously knew where we wanted to go, but decided a tour of the city was in order.  Well done sir.

Staying at the Hilton isn't exactly getting us accustomed to what is in order over the next few weeks, but we've still managed to explore the city and taste some of the local food - amazing.  Have seen 6 million people, and only one other westerner so far.  Everyone seems to be very interested in our shoes - all looks look you in the eye for a nod or a smile, and then straight to the shoes.

The city has been covered in a thick fog since we've been here, making touristy options such as visiting the Taj not very practical... we have plenty of 9 hour day trips ahead of us anyway...

Off to Jaisalmer tomorrow, to meet all the other Rickshaw Runners, register the team and meet the 3 wheeled beast herself.

Stay tuned...
