Flemish Region, Belgium
So the adventure has started. First night of the rally, 1am Belgium... We broke down. With a kitchen knife and tape from our first aid kit we got the alternater reconnected.
New Route
It's now official, we have changed our route. Instead of going through Georgia, Azerbaijan and across the Caspian Sea. We are driving straight from Turkey into Iran and travelling the width this not so small country. Why!? Because there are too many conflicts and therefore closed borders, if we went any other way. Plus, why not! The route continues as planned after, with the exception of driving less in Turkmenistan, by skimming the borders of Afghanistan and going straight into Uzbekistan.
