With a big effort we got plenty of bonus kms. Our steering column is in bad need of alignment with our front wheel.
Our partners in the Bob Lindhart Experience are running pretty fine now too.
We are enjoying our second rest day but plan to hit some smaller desert roads tomorrow or Friday before the finish!
Pushkar is an amazing religious place, the city centre completely surrounding a holy lake. Also we have seen a great market, some really cool local people, and found an amazing hostel realy cheap. Basically we all love it and plan on spending another day here...having some actual holiday "fun", before charging to the finish!

Chilling with Buddha
Just havin a 2 night chillout in Buddhas place of enlightenment, Bodh Gaya.
Plenty of religious pilgrims from all over the place and all in all a great experience.
Ready to hit the road to Varanasi bright and early.

Road has deteriorated completely. Entering the mountains. Found some great roadside food.

Camped in the front grounds of a school. Covered about 200km yesterday on fairly decent roads. Trudy is still running like a sweetheart. 530 start this morning and found our mates just down the road. Heading for Siligur today.

Welcome to India
Unfortunately Tuk Tac Toe has lost our team mate Geoff from the challenge due to a serious health issue.We wish Geoff a speedy recovery and hope he can join us on many great adventures of the future. Without a plan as to how we should actually meet in India, Dickey and I found each other in the maze of Kolkata streets and promptly made our way to the train station for the arduous journey to Shillong. We would arrive in the lovely North Eastern city a day later to complete my continuous trip from Nice, France in just a touch over 55 hours (1 bus, 3 planes, 4 taxis and a 17hour train). The last few days have been spent on the practice roads with our 'beautiful' machine, meeting and swapping info with the other teams and naturally enjoying a few Kingfishers. Just 2 days until the real deal so stay posted for the real updates from the road! We would like to thank everyone who has sponsored us so far and remind a few that there are somdeposits still to be made from our own accounts thanks to generous cash donations. Stay tuned...
