Ukraine, although an enormous country was not the most interesting. The poverty is immediate with harse and carts obstructing the roads and the roads themselves abysmal. Its as if you a riding a bike through a meteor crater over and over again. The people, however, were very interesting. Having been stopped for speeding on our first day we "inadvertently found" a bottle of whiskey in our bags that the policeman could have. He soon let us leave with no penalty. The sight of two motorcycles driving through seemed to give us celebrity status as people would run up to us at a red light and ask us for our autographs. Very odd... And now we are on our way through the Russian border, being thoroughly screwed over for the price of our insurance. Updates to follow...@
