Nuremburg

Okay,so its day 3 and we are in the beautiful Old City of Nuremburg.Having the most incredible time and have seen so much already!Spent a while in Bruselles yesterday morning with Team Hard Cat to Follow which was pretty amazing, had a stroll around one of the parks and Nathan spent 4 euros on a coffee!Extorniate!Spent most of the day driving in convoy with them and were planning on staying in Frankfurt for the night. However when Team Hard Cat turned off at Frankfurt to pick up their friends it was only 6pm so we decided to push on through to the city of Wurzburg...Wurzburg came and went and before we knew it we were pulling up to a service station just before Nuremburg on our lonesome!Pitched our tent, had some noodles and a beer and crashed out.So so cold last night and the rain was crashing down all night but we survived and didnt get too wet. Also managed to get some help from a kind German trucker who helped blow our airbed up in about two seconds flat...usually it take 20 minutes!Am curently writting this from the hotel in which Nathan stayed when he visited Nuremburg in February for a business trip. We were hoping to pop in and say hi and possibly bag ourselves a free parking space before wandering around the city...but they welcomed us with open arms and before we knew it we were having breakfast and ciggie breaks with the owners and their gorgeous tiny dog!veryone has been so friendly and this city is truely spectacular, sad to be leaving...But on the up side we re Prague bound to visit the Church of Bones and get ridiculously drunk with our other Ralliers at the CzechOut Party! All is well...GOOD TIMES!Love to all, A and N XXX

Roof Rack Fun!

Okay, so the boyfriend has been complaining that i havent been blogging so here goes...Our first blog:

Its only 3 weeks till we leave and simply just cant wait to go now! Have recently managed to bag ourself a free top of the range roof rack from one of sponsors so took out Bear Mobile on a little road trip up to Whitney on Saturday to get the roof rack fitted. Managed to get there in one piece without a sat nav (go us!) and with minimal arguments. On our arrival we opened our super duper roof rack and managed to assemble it together without too much trouble. Well...Nathan assembled it along with some help while i stood there holding instructions; Very helpful of me. After we had it all screwed together and roof bars in place we stumbled across a small problem. We should have known things couldn't be all plain sailing! The roof rack is great but just ever so slightly too big for our little beast of a car. So we did the only thing we could do, and after much standing around looking at it, decided to just screw the screws a little bit tighter and hope for the best. In the end it looked pretty good and seemed to be pretty sturdy...and also slightly wonky. At the end of the day, it's there to do a job and we drove home with big smiles on our faces!
