The Plan.

On the Christmas Eve last year James, Conrad and Sam sat down over a pint of Pride in the George IV in Chiswick and talked about driving the 10,000 miles from London to Ulaan Bataar, Mongolia aka The Mongal Rally[(mongolrally.theadventurists.com)](http://mongolrally.theadventurists.com/), The initial plan was to do the trip in the summer of 2012 (after Sam finished University) but after a few more pints of Pride we could see no reason not to do it this year. Others, might choose to  cite that at the time we only had one driving licence between the three of us (I have since got mine and I have a lot of faith that Conrad will get his before we leave) among many other, probably valid, reasons for not doing it. But we are. The Cardiomyopathy Association is who we are supporting. This charity is particularly close to us, as one of our school friend’s sister, Rebecca Sears, tragically died on the 1st January 2010. At the age of 13 she was diagnosed with Dilated Cardiomyopathy and spent the rest of her life dealing with the condition. The Charity supports research and specialist staff in the hope of preventing others from having to cope with similar sadness that family and friends feel in losing Becky. We have a long way to go (We need a car, visas, and probably a lot of other stuff) and just over 2 months to pull it all together. Wish up luck.  James, Sam and ConradÂ
