Xi'an, China
Dunc has added silk worm and scorpion to his culinary tour of China. He opted out of 'testicles on a stick'.

Beijing, China
Been in China less than 12 hours and Dunc has already eaten two cheeseburgers.
Ulaanbaatar, Mongolia
Ovorkhangai, Mongolia
After spending 6 hours waiting for Amy to be fixed today we've had to travel through the night to get to Arvaikheer. Driving through Mongolian wilderness on un-marked, un-even dirt roads in the pitch black is not an experience any of us are keen to repeat.
Bayanhongor, Mongolia
630km (400m) to the finish line at Ulaanbaatar but with a broken suspension spring, a dodgy prop shaft and an average speed of 25mph on shitty 'roads' will we make it in time for Jon and Soph's 7.30am flight on Tuesday?! Who knows. Come on Amy! @
Altay, China
If you're ever in Mongolia, avoid the town of Altay - despite what the Lonely Planet says, the locals aren't friendly, hotels deem electricity and showers luxury items and the answer to everything you order in the one restaurant in town is 'no' (repeated endlessly until you give up and leave) A delightful place.
Khovd, Mongolia
Hours on the road = 12, bags of minging crisps bought = 4, rivers crossed = 2, punctures = 1 (not ours), kilometers to Ulaanbataar = 1425.
Bayan Olgii, Mongolia
After a paltry 22 hours at the Russia-Mongolia border crossing we're through - we've only gone and made it to Mongolia!
Semey, Kazakhstan
17 hours in a hot ambulance = bad day. Leaving friendly Kazakhstan tomorrow and going to grumpy Russia = very bad day.
Shymkent, Kazakhstan
Jon's arrived! Team Rover are 4 again! Got stopped by lots of friendly Kazakh police wanting a chat - must have been a slow crime day.
