Update #1... a bit late

> After a week of completely out of control and severely mad tuking along the west coast (screw the highway), we find ourselves in Padang...so close to the Mentawia islands, yet so far!

> 7 days of nasi goreng have corrupted and battered our digestive systems, thus last nights 1 million rupee pizza hut splurge was well deserved. Now we face the challenge of moving these 3 little broken bastards to Medan within the next 24 hours to meet our ferry deadline. But, spirits and Bintangs remains strong.  We aren't out yet, expect us as always to push the logistical limit.  2 broken accelerator cables, 2 tuks without a clutch, missing doors, new brake brackets, no suspension bolts, new radiator, new engine, new tires.  We've crashed into a petrol truck, performed the first high speed tuk tuk drift in Indo history, and have gained significant air on multiple harrowing occasions (thank you Dixie).  In short, we're ready for whatever comes our way, almost.
