Made it into russia at by far the easiest border yet. Gunning it to the Mongolian one but the roads here are excellent so making good time. Need to stock up on food and fuel beforehand as expecting this border to take over 24hours.

Just realised how far behind we are and now gearing up to cross into Russia at midnight for a 24 hour shift.

3 hours at the border and a couple getting lost in Almaty, but finally have some decent food and toilets.

Made it to the capital of kyrgyzstan, camping again on the outskirts. Drove through some beautiful mountains today, saw our first snow at 3600m@

Camped last night just outside Jalalabat in Kyrgyzstan, now driving through the mountains on route to lake Issyk-kul.@

Fergana, Uzbekistan

After an epic night out in Tashkent, we drove our local host Andreas to Fergana. Planning on staying at his friends house tonight....loving the local hospitality!

Tashkent, Uzbekistan

Currently staying in a local persons house about to have a big night out. Picked up half of a team with no car and finally reunited with Andy. Driving round Tashkent with 6 people plus bags was an absolute nightmare.

Bukhara Province, Uzbekistan

After 12 hours on the worst roads so far, made it to Bukhara. Stayed with a former USSR Olympic sprinter in his 200 year old home. Hitting Samarkand tonight with the other rallyers
