after seeing the best and worst of Indian roads we are past what we like to refer to as "the pinch". 13 hours straight of driving yesterday and we can't believe how far we have come. Not too far to Shillong now!!

After staying in possibly the worst accom so far we are more than happy to get back in our rickshaw for another 8 hours. On the upside our stereo was still there and there were no dogs/cats/people sleeping in our rickshaw today!

A packed breakfast is a great start to the day & we unfortunately have to leave. We don't get far before the carbon monoxide leaking from our broken exhaust into the cabin becomes a problem. Luckily we found a friendly bike mechanic who tracked a new exhaust down & attached it for us for $3. Meanwhile we befriended probably every single kid in town as word got out quickly that there were some funny looking foreigners in town.@

We have reached paradise. A well deserved reward. A night at the Mayfair Bhubaneswar. While we stare at the stars floating in our heated pool contemplating whether we go to the Indian/Asian/Western/Italian restaurant before we go to the hotel pub and then hotel club. We struggle to remember that we are even in India any more.

We've made it coast to coast. Just found this amazing hotel fit for a queen. Literally. She stayed here. Really wish we had more time so we could of spent the night. The amazing lunch here should get us through the day though.

arrived in srikakulam last night, sat down to a well earned dinner then our team member accidently split scalding hot soup all over him and another. He now has bubbling red patches! Great end to the day, thankfully the staff were kind enough to donate some burn cream. ** some text is missing **

Down to 4 of our 8 bolts in the left wheel. Decided this may be a good time to stop and get It looked at. Also we worked out the strange noise was just a bolt in the spare wheel shaking. Everything is coming up milhouse.

just made it through Visakhapatnam after discovering another odd noise coming from our rickshaw and losing our fuel tank cap. But we're making great time!

finally arrived in rajahmundry after braking down while trying to fix a breakdown and getting lost several times while trying to find the hotel. But can't really complain as our recovery session involves beer and lethal weapon 3! (originally posted 5pm)
