Almaty, Kazakhstan

in the party capital of Kazakhstan. Not much of a party so far... Managed to completely lose our convoy peeps who ended up somewhere else in the city. We completed screwed one of our wheels today, so that's both spares used up and a broken suspension spring means a trip to a garage tomoz me thinks. When I say we completely screwed our wheel, what I really mean is James completely screwed the wheel after forgetting that the road is where you need to be not the massive canyon to the side!!! Fun times!!

Namangan Province, Uzbekistan

Left Namangan this morning after an 'interesting' arrival last night. We couldn't find a hotel so some locals offered to show us where one was. Then another car decided to help. A few awesome street races later we arrived only to be mobbed by 40 locals. All very pleasant with map etc. Only problem was the police and army rocking up with very grumpy faces! Elephant diplomacy works every where! Onto Bishkek, PS we got Sophie out in time before her Uzbek visa ran out.
