At last.....
On the eve of departure - everything is done we hope. Got some Russian Rubles, US Dollars, and Euros today, so we have enough to get over a couple of borders. Car is all ready Minty put the finishing touches on it today. All that's left is to load up tomorrow morning and hit the road........ A big thank you to Norm, our mechanical wizard and all round superstar - we would not be anywhere near ready without him. Also to all those very generous people out there who have supported us. Next post will be from London.......and then Eastward we venture.............

Amost ready
Almost ready to go now, last minute adjustments to the car - new battery, separate fan switch, roof rack and spare wheels. Had a trial run of packing all the gear away and surprisingly we still have loads of space :) Departing Lossiemouth Friday morning for the long haul down to London, overnight on route. Still got all the paperwork to check over - we think everything is there - photo copy everything tomorrow. Just want to get started now........
