Cameroon or Bust!

About 200km to Cameroon border and staying in a little town in Nigeria. My premonitions have been broken about here but the roads and weather make me loath it here. After Burkina we had b-lined it to Nigeria and managed two border crossings in one day. Togo is amazing and Benin was crap. The roads were horrible and once we got into Nigeria it was about 200km of crap trails to get to a decent road. Once we hit a decent road it was highspeed pothole dodging. Right now we are having car troubles with the starter going, the points are nill, our alternator is fizzing out and we get 80km/h speed wobbles from towing someone. Right now I am starting to dry and going to head out for food. Tomorrow we will tear into Cameroon, providing the weather holds. Our dune buggy doesnt like water.

Ouagadougou toot toot!!

Just arrived into Ouagadougou and had a good chance to get on this typing box. We arrived into Burkina Faso yesterday and headed to Bobo which was a lively town. Kevin, Sandbox Savants and I had sat down for a bite to eat and a beer while waiting for a few other teams tp meet up with us but to no avail they didnt. So, after a 3 hour break we took off and found a hill to camp on. It ended up storming for the second night; the night before on a catholic church property. Today we met uip with a few teams and decided to get on our way later on today to start the seperation on the last leg of this trip. Togo, benin, nigeria and cameroon for us and different path for the other Teams. Kiran will be joining us with possibly another person who will be needing a seat. e will be amongst nigeria in a few days and our goal is to blast across it in 3 days time. So, until Cameroon......take care.

Tomorrow...... Mauritania

**Beer tonight!!!!!!!**

Just got into Dakhla and let me tell you, its been a hard ride on the Lady. We high tailed it at 100 (kilometers) and on a rough section the bump tore our bungee securing our hood and the hood flapped and smashed our headlight which in turn shredded out tire WHICH then tore out our left turn signal. She is still running pretty and with good hope will have no more problems!!! hehehe Tomorrow we will hit up the Mauritanian border and try and get out Mali visa at some time. Also need to find a spare tire. Chaos!!!!

PS.... we think our started might gop. a good tap brings her to life but how long will that last?
