Yogyakarta, Indonesia
So, driving up the 2nd highest mountain was hard, driving back down was borderline stupid. Thaiway and Bam Bam shaws enroute to Jakarta via truck for some TLC. Hopefully see them in Jakarta tomorrow. Stay safe everyone.
East Java, Indonesia
Epic day today! 250km from Probolinggo to Sarangen roughly 2500m up a volcano on the boarder or East and Central Java. Not a single break down today, the bemo is god. Bring on Yogyakarta. Thaiway to hell and Team B(slow) are buzzing with some bintang.
Madiun, Indonesia
just made the decision to drive up a volcano called Mt Lawu and spend the night up there! adventure is on!!!
East Java, Indonesia
Still with Bam Bam and was nice to see Team Orange Apes today. Lucked out with a sweet villa that has shower, wifi, and ATM! Both shaws still on road, multiple breakdowns for Bam Bam today though and very slow progress - still smiling :-)
Bali, Indonesia
rocking out on the ferry to Java with team Bam Bam. Americans ahead of us, not sure about anyone else! Where are you all!??
Bali, Indonesia
still on Bali, spent the night with two other teams in what was essentially a Bali Travellodge, for short-staying customers, team Bam Bam Rickshaw is shite, Thaiway is a beast, but a thirsty one. Currently fixing bam bam, then on to Java!@
Bali, Indonesia
Sat in seminyak. Paint job done and good to go.
Hello World...
Hello There,
You've probably been directed to this page from a begging email or note from ourselves, so, firstly, thanks for taking the time to visit. We'll be adding stuff to the website before and during the event so check back regularly, you can even chart our progress once we've departed!
In the meantime though, please dig deep to sponsor our designated charities, the British Heart Foundation, and Birdlife International - Check out the "Charities" link on the left for more info and to make a much needed donation!
Cheers,
Nick
