Team Need Abarth

After a spirited drive through some terrible roads with...bad is the wrong word... 'different' drivers, we've made it to Georgia and our overnight point before the finish line tomorrow...

Just stopping for a very rallyish lunch in the middle of batshit crazy Batumi before we head off into Georgia. Can't quite believe we've made it here.

A quick stop in at the auto spa to clean Albania off! Unfortunately they don't reinstall exhausts...

Driving across Southern Italy today feels a lot like driving across Iran four years ago, and that's absolutely not a positive - it's mega hot. And nobody has invited us round to their house for dinner at 70mph yet, and that makes me sad.

Made it across the sea and 5,000ft up a Sicilian mountain to hit our first Pole of Inconvenience, and my oh my how inconvenient it was.

By some miracle, we managed to get through Naples and onto a ship. Sicily and the POI tomorrow...

After a day of delays due to a broken spark plug lead, we're on the way!

We made it to our planned destination today at Lake Garda, but we won't make it much further unless we find a new exhaust in the morning!

This is totally fine, the heat is entirely bearable and we definitely aren't screwed.

Third stop of the day for overheating - casued by a BMW driving too slowly to cool our engine down... Worse places for it though!
