Well,we were very close to Algeciras and on track to get a ferry to Morocco but we badly broke down on Friday night. There's some very nasty engine knocking. If the car can even be fixed then we wont find out until Monday. Until then we're stranded in the scummy town of Aguiras on the Spanish coast with nothing to do but get sunburn and play chess. Spirits are low.

We're a bit further south than Valencia, just past Alicante. No one told us Spain was this big! Powering through to Algeciras though so we can meet people to convoy in Africa with. We have to wait for them to text us though because Matt dropped his phone down a toilet in Germany and lost lots of numbers! Weather report: hot hot hot!@

So some late night driving on the cards. Roll on spain. @

I was originally born in Colchester, England, but I've lived in Dumfries, Scotland, my whole life.
That is until I went to university where I currently reside in the lovely, if small and uneventful, City of Stirling.
I'm a third year student studying English, Religious Studies and Education so in one and a half years I will be out in the real world teaching subjects I hardly know anything about!
Other than that I don't do much...I'm a lifeguard and I play Ultimate Frisbee when I bother turning up to practice!
So why am I doing the Africa Rally? Basically I got pretty bored with life and fancied doing something adventurous/dangerous and this seemed like the only logical step forward! :D

I also like avocadoes.
