The Motor Neurone Disease Association
The MND Association focuses on improving access to care, research and campaigning for those people living with or affected by Motor Neurone Disease. This charity is close to our hearts as Oscars beloved grandfather died from Motor Neurone Disease in 2016. Motor Neurone is a fatal neurological disease that affects up to 5,000 adults in the UK at any one time and kills five people everyday, a third within two years of diagnosis and half within 14 months. It has no cure. I want to raise funds for expert researchers to change this. Just £75 can fund a researcher for half a day. My target is to fund as many days as possible. It will lead to a new and better understanding of this condition and will bring us closer to a cure. But every donation you give however small will help to make a difference to a person living with MND and their families.

a small local charity that aims to protect and maintain the islands flora and fauna as well as important archeological sites. The islands are home to a wide variety of sea birds and marine mammals which are under human threats. As it is such a small charity each donation, whatever size, has a massive impact on island species. Your donations help to fund important projects such as sea grass protection, wetland restoration and conservation of the many animals that call Scilly home.

We love wildlife and spend a lot of our time exploring the wilderness; finding exciting areas to climb , wild swim and enjoy the peace . However, on our journey we have really seen the impact we as humans are having on our planet, even in some of the most beautiful remote places there would be litter; 90% of that rubbish was single use plastics. On one beach we filled an entire bin with plastic straws and rubbish from the parties that had taken place the nights before.
