Brilliant day.. Got Daisy stuck in river..then managed to get through 3 bigger ones to Cameroon Border! Armed escort in Daisy to hotel bar and had great conversation with local "girls"! Bed now..what will tomorrow bring!! Lol

Never trust a Nigerian policeman..roads terrible. Those rickety wooden bridges you see in films DO exist! Just had Daisy's bumper off to clean mud from radiator! On move again now..

First proposition last night..nice lady but no thanks! Cameroon visa to collect tomorrow..women in embassy overheard during phone call.. "Is the white guy's visa application ok?" Don't think they get many whites here.. Drivers here nuts..seen 3 accidents in a half hour this morning..@

Over border no problem..and roads have improved too. Wide, no potholes and no cars!
He thinks he can drive... Maybe in Scottish forests he can but in the Sahara in a 660cc car? We'll see!!
Liam Wood of Glenburgie Subaru has very generously donated our chariot for our African Adventure. Liam is a pretty quick rally driver but seems to drive the oddest of cars...hence the Daihatsu!!
