On Thursday we got an email from the Adventurists telling us that the Foreign Office's Head of Counter Terrorism had told us not to drive through Mauritania, so we've made alternative plans. Liz found this news article explaining why with us mentioned right at the bottom. So we're here for another Few Days. All the fun of an adventure :)

we're back in the UK. we just got off the plane at heathrow and we're waiting for a coach up to the midlands.

we're here! We arrived in ub on monday at 8pm. 17 days of travelling and we're ready for some beer at Dave's and a long lye in tomorrow :-D

we've been waiting to enter mongolia for 5 hours now and no sign of movement. We're hungry and they are just having their lunch which smells gorgeous :-(

it's 10 o'clock at night and we've just arrived at the border with Mongolia which opens at 9am. 11 hours to go.
