27/07 18.35 Have made it to Western Sahara and just left Layoune after refueling and replenishing supplies. Got the impression that Layoune doesn't get many tourists and we proved quite popular there. As expected the Western Saraha is full of sand, sand and more sand with the occaisional camel to keep us entertained.

26/07 23.00 long day's driving and are about 100 miles outside of Tantan. All going well despite our little Uno suffering from the heat battling the Atlas mountains. We just let Timmy cool off a bit and he stays going strong. Camping at the moment waiting for our 1st batch of meatballs to cook... Yummy!

25/07 23.20 Arrived in Marrakesh a few hours ago. We pigged out a fine Moroccon buffet, met up with some fellow ralliers and are now enjoying a few ice-cold beer's on a roof-top overlooking the lights of Marrakesh. Our room isn't ensuite and there is a hole in the ground acting as a toilet for the floor, but at the moment life's pretty sweet.

25/07 17.45 One of our wheel bearings had been giving a bit of trouble since the hub nut started to fall apart and loosned. We tried to get a replacement in a town just outside of Marrakesh and somehow wound up getting a mechanic to fix our squeeky bearing. Had it done in 30 mins and cost 100 dirham (about a tenner). Locals are very friendly and call us all Roy Keane.
