Spent the night beside a lake surrounded by gers and livestock. This morning we stopped at a ger and were invited in for goat yougurt. We met the family including their tiny baby. We left them with some gifts and one of our mascot cuddly toys for the baby. What an amazing experience! 6261 miles covered!

It took us and a few other teams a day at the border, but we are elated to announce that we have made it to Mongolia! Its the most starkly beautiful place we have seen! We will have to let the pictures tell the story when we get back! We now face 5 days of grueling, dusty, car destroying roads to UB, but we dont care! This is the final push! Wish us luck!

Been stuck here since Friday trying to get exit visas. Our west country comrades The Sign Up Team are here with us. We have all had a substantial weight lifted from our wallets thanks to red tape and paperwork! Spent the whole sweaty day waiting to get visa and now we are told we wait until tomorrow! Oh and we were thrown out of the immigration office earlier for sitting on the floor!@
