Day 1

Touch down in Utaanbaatar -1 bag ( not mine thang god) Enjoyed the delights of a mongol taxi (very similar to those in Tanzania) had a look round a few sights then found a bar for a few beers epic start so far. It can't be that hard really can it

Made it to Mongolia

Finally made is safely to Mongolia after a hair raising dash through a empty Frankfurt Airport to delay the departure of the plane...

In Mongolia!

Am in Ulaanbaatar and am already feeling at home! Looking forward to meeting everyone tomorrow at the pre-race training and even more excited to head out to the steppes! Good luck to everyone

Reunited with my luggage

I am here and thankfully my luggage has now arrived- on a separate flight! Meeting lots of lovely people from around the world. Pre race training starts tomorrow.
